Letter, 1904 March 30 : Kensington to Miss Macklin.

Autograph letter from Laurence Housman to Miss Macklin, asking her for permission to use an incident she had recounted to him for a poem he has written but not yet published. Enclosed with the 4 page letter is a 3 page autograph copy written on lined paper of the poem in question. The poem, consisting of 13 stanzas describing a pastoral scene where a young boy plays at war, is signed with his initials and with two corrections in the first verse.
